Help on Canadian & Brit gold
 
Been buying gold coins when i had the money and have some i dont know if they have value more than gold any help or directions please!!

My book here says these coins trade at bullion value plus a small premium. There is no special value to a coin collector, as the mintages were quite high.

If your coin is a proof (queen's head is frosted rather than shiny, and there are no rim denticles), then you have a 22kt coin. The non-proof version is 14kt. They had mintages of 350,000 and 650,000.

I don't know about the British coins.
